Becky Crozier, a 42-year-old beauty entrepreneur, is celebrating one year of running her business in Stockton Heath after rethinking her life during the pandemic. She has returned to the village where her career began and describes the moment as a ‘full circle.’
Becky, who lives in Woolston, said she has worked on luxury Caribbean cruise ships and was a national trainer for the UK’s largest network of specialist skincare clinics. Yet, she says she has never been happier than she is now, running her own business and renting a room at The Beauty Clinic from her longtime friend, Anna Morris.
Her first job was at The Green Room on Walton Road, and after traveling thousands of miles, Becky is grateful to be back where it all started. She credits her customers for helping her find the work-life balance she always wanted.
Becky graduated in Health & Beauty from Warrington Collegiate in 2001. She then earned a place at The Elemis Academy in London, chosen from a pool of 1,000 trainees for an intensive skin care course. At just 19, she represented Elemis, where she received elocution lessons and quickly began doing facials on some of the world’s most luxurious cruise ships.
After leaving the cruise industry, Becky spent 17 years working with doctors, dermatologists, and nurses at Care Quality Commission-regulated clinics. Based in Wilmslow, she traveled across the UK training practitioners on advanced equipment, including clinics on London’s famous Wimpole Street.
During the pandemic, Becky reassessed her career. When the clinic network changed ownership just before lockdown, she decided to make a change. She returned to Stockton Heath, initially working employed roles, but her true goal was self-employment — a goal she has since achieved and embraced fully.
Becky is a strong advocate for natural skin care and does not offer Botox or fillers. Her clinic is the only one in Warrington partnered with Circadia, a skincare brand that combines science and nature. Her treatments include hydro facials, medical-grade microneedling, peels, and removal of thread veins and skin lesions.
