Mumbai, April 15, 2025 — CeraVe, the dermatologist-developed and top-recommended skincare brand in the US, has launched its ‘Derm On-The-Go’ campaign in India. The initiative aims to bring professional skincare advice directly to young consumers, starting with college students in major cities.
CeraVe kicked off the program in Mumbai using mobile buses, called CeraVans, and campus kiosks, CeraKiosks, where over 100 dermatologists offered free one-on-one consultations. More than 1,500 students received personal skincare advice, and over 15,000 people participated in interactive sessions across Mumbai and Delhi. The next stop is Bengaluru.
The program’s goal is to improve access to expert skincare guidance, debunk common myths, and promote healthier skincare habits. It focuses on high-traffic areas such as college campuses and urban hubs.
“CeraVe wants to empower every Indian to make informed skincare choices,” said Rami Itani, Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, L’Oréal India.
Dermatologist Dr. Siddhi Tiwari added, “Many young people unknowingly harm their skin by following viral skincare trends without proper advice. This initiative takes expert guidance straight to them, right where they are. Education is key to preventing long-term damage.”
To extend its reach, the campaign also features digital content. Indian dermatologists and lifestyle influencers are sharing educational videos on Instagram and YouTube. These clips address common skincare myths and offer tips based on scientific research.
CeraVe launched in India in 2023. Known for products containing three essential ceramides and MVE technology, the brand focuses on restoring the skin barrier and delivering long-lasting hydration. Its Moisturizing Cream, tested on Indian skin, has shown positive results in treating mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.
Looking ahead, CeraVe plans to expand ‘Derm On-The-Go’ nationwide. The brand will take the initiative beyond colleges to include corporate parks and other public areas in more cities by the end of the year.
With this expansion, CeraVe reinforces its commitment to making expert skincare accessible to everyone in India.
