The contribution will help improve eye care services in the two states, enhancing healthcare infrastructure and providing essential medical equipment to hospitals.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, SBI Securities has donated ₹49 lakh to enhance eye care services in Odisha and West Bengal. The funds will be used to equip District Hospitals and NGO-run hospitals with vital medical equipment for Eye Outpatient Departments (OPDs) and Operation Theatres (OTs).
This donation will ensure that underserved communities in the two states receive improved access to timely and high-quality eye care. The collaboration is part of the “Netra Vasant – Rural Eye Health Programme” in partnership with Sightsavers India.
Shri Sushanta Kumar Das, CFO & WTD of SBICAP Securities Ltd, shared, “We recognize the crucial role that good vision plays in a person’s quality of life. Our contribution aims to strengthen local hospitals and improve access to quality eye care for those in need.”
