Dr. Laoise Hook has opened a new facial aesthetics clinic in Skibbereen, bringing advanced treatments to a stunning part of West Cork. The Hook Clinic focuses on subtle, natural-looking results designed to refresh the face, rather than dramatic changes. Dr. Hook emphasizes that good facial aesthetics should enhance your appearance without being obvious.
Trained in the UK and experienced with anti-wrinkle injections on Harley Street, Dr. Hook returned home to West Cork with her family to launch the clinic. She hopes to change the perception of facial aesthetics, moving away from the heavy lip fillers and frozen looks that have made some people hesitant.
The clinic offers initial consultations to help clients understand their options and choose the best treatments without pressure. Half of the consultation fee can be applied toward products or services booked that day.
Treatments available include anti-wrinkle injections, chemical peels, skin resurfacing, skinboosters, and polynucleotides. Soon, the clinic will add laser and IPL treatments to address issues like rosacea, pigmentation, and acne scars.
Beyond facial care, The Hook Clinic also provides wellness services. These include a dedicated women’s health and menopause clinic featuring the Emsella Chair for pelvic floor strengthening, and a medical weight loss program.
