On June 15, YouTuber Daily Yeonyi shared a new vlog on her YouTube channel titled “Meeting and Playing with Hyori Sister in Her Calm Daily Life | Actually Hyori Sister Visited the Hospital | Rare Skin Disease | Blistering Epidermal Detachment”. The video showcases Daily Yeonyi’s recent visit to the Seoul Jazz Festival 2025, where she spent time with renowned singer Lee Hyo-ri.
In the video, Daily Yeonyi and Lee Hyo-ri attended the festival, enjoying the performances and exploring the event together. Yeonyi also explained how her connection with Lee Hyo-ri began and how their relationship led to their participation in the festival.
Yeonyi previously drew attention in 2023 when she released a video about meeting Lee Hyo-ri on a plane. In the video, she shared how Hyo-ri listened attentively to her struggles with her rare skin condition, blistering epidermal detachment. After their meeting, Yeonyi said, “A few months later, my manager received an email from Hyo-ri. She asked how I was doing and mentioned she was curious about my health, as I had been hospitalized at the time.”
Yeonyi continued, recalling how Lee Hyo-ri took time out of her busy schedule to visit her in the hospital. “You must have been very busy, but you brightened my hospital days by chatting for an hour,” she said, reflecting on the comfort Hyo-ri provided during a challenging time.
Since then, the two have stayed in touch, and Yeonyi recently reached out to Hyo-ri to express her gratitude. She mentioned, “It’s been a long time since I attended someone’s concert, and I’ve never been to a festival before. It was a new experience, and I really enjoyed it. Thank you, Hyori, for creating unforgettable memories for me.”
Lee Hyo-ri, known not only for her successful music career but also for her philanthropic efforts, has continued to impress with her charitable actions. Recently, she donated 18.5 tons of animal feed purchased directly from 17 animal shelters, drawing significant attention. In addition, Hyo-ri has made donations to single-parent families, youth preparing for self-reliance, and animal welfare organizations, further cementing her reputation as a compassionate public figure.
Lee Hyo-ri, who debuted as a member of the iconic girl group Fin.K.L in 1998, achieved solo success and later transitioned into broadcasting. She married musician Lee Sang-soon in 2013 and lived on Jeju Island for about 11 years before relocating to Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, in late 2024. More recently, she has been connecting with listeners by making guest appearances on the MBC FM4U radio show “Perfect Day Lee Sang-soon,” hosted by her husband.
