Australian supermodel and entrepreneur Miranda Kerr has expressed admiration for India’s approach to beauty and wellness, praising the way the country blends ancient traditions with modern practices. In a recent interview with Bazaar India, Kerr said, “I love that in India, people blend ancient wisdom with a modern outlook very well.”
Kerr recently launched her skincare brand, Kora Organics, in India. Known for promoting a holistic philosophy in skincare, the brand focuses on the connection between mind, body, and skin. One of the brand’s star ingredients is turmeric, a staple in Indian wellness and cooking for centuries. “India has that deep-rooted connection to holistic beauty,” she said. “Turmeric is one of our hero ingredients. It has been part of Indian wellness for generations, so there’s a beautiful synergy between Kora Organics and Indian beauty rituals.”
Kerr, who gained international fame as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, emphasized that Indian customers are highly mindful of the ingredients in their skincare products. “It just feels like a good fit for me,” she added.
The model and mother of four is known for her wellness-focused lifestyle, frequently sharing beauty tips and routines on social media. Speaking about her skincare regimen, Kerr highlighted several key natural ingredients featured in her products. “Noni extract is in every single product. It’s packed with over a hundred vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants,” she said, adding that she has used noni juice since age 13—thanks to her grandmother’s influence.
She also emphasized the benefits of other ingredients like kakadu plum, known for its high vitamin C content. “It helps to even out skin tone, brighten the skin, and prevent and treat pigmentation and dullness,” Kerr explained.
Turmeric, she noted, is especially helpful in calming inflammation and promoting healthy skin.
